Through its unique Vortex circulating air system, this portable humidifier puts out enough soft, humid air to condition several rooms at once. Alleviate suffering from colds, asthma, or dry skin by adjusting the easy-to-use controls: three fan speeds and six humidity levels allow the humidifier to soothe any situation. The lowest fan setting is bedroom-quiet; the highest setting evaporates four gallons of water in 24 hours. Once the desired humidity level is reached, a control can be set to maintain that level. The two 2-gallon plastic bottles are virtually leakproof and spillproof, have wide mouths for easy filling, and permit water-level monitoring. The humidifier's two wicks are treated to inhibit bacteria growth and need to be replaced every 60 to 90 days. Should the water run out, the humidifier keeps running to dry out the wicks and further inhibit mold.
